EnviroLenz LLC was founded by Kyle Cleven in May 2026 with a simple goal: to provide environmental inspection services that are thorough, science- and fact-based, and tailored to the individual needs of each client.

Kyle brings more than 9 years of experience in the environmental services industry to EnviroLenz. During that time, he gained experience performing a wide range of inspections in settings ranging from multi-story commercial buildings to single-family homes and apartment units. His experience includes mold, indoor air quality, asbestos, lead risk assessments, soot, illicit drug residue, and moisture mapping, as well as both large, multi-day projects and individual residential inspections.

We believe that dealing with potential environmental hazards doesn’t need to be a frightening experience. Inspection findings should be based on observable evidence, laboratory results, established standards, and applicable regulatory guidance—not fear or speculation. When a hazard is identified, Kyle takes a financially conservative approach to recommendations, focusing on what is appropriate and necessary rather than creating unnecessary work or expense.

Kyle’s background in education and coaching has also shaped the way he works with clients. He understands that knowing the technical answer is only part of the job— the other part is being able to explain that answer clearly and concisely to the person who needs it.

One of EnviroLenz’s particular strengths is pre-remediation mold inspections, where careful evaluation and clear communication can help property owners and contractors understand the situation before remediation begins.

The name EnviroLenz reflects this philosophy. Like a lens that brings something into clearer focus, we believe that careful observation and thoughtful evaluation can provide a better understanding of what’s happening in a building— and what, if anything, needs to be done about it.

Based in Minnesota, EnviroLenz currently serves clients throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, with the flexibility to take on projects outside those areas when appropriate.
